Becoming a lacrosse referee is one of the smartest decisions a young person can make. It will develop transferable life skills such as, decision making, working under pressure & conflict resolution.
Becoming a lacrosse referee will improve your understanding of the game and is a great way for major bantam and midget aged players to improve their skills on the floor.
It is also a rewarding way to contribute to the growth of the sport and earn some cash along the way ($25-$42 a game!).
It is the goal of the BMLA to grow and establish a core of Referees that are known for their excellent officiating. So, if you think you have what it takes and are 14 years of age or older click here for more information regarding rates, clinics, resources and more
If you have any other questions please email Carson Dunec at email@example.com

Please direct any inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org

This year, the following positions will be voted on, if you are interested in running for one of these positions, please contact Aimee Chalmers (firstname.lastname@example.org) to ensure you are on the nomination list.

VP House League - Looking for a new volunteer for this position
VP Equipment - Incumbent will run again for this position
VP Sponsorship - Looking for a new volunteer for this position
Treasurer - Incumbent will run again for this position
The VP House League position is a critical one. The board strongly believes that without a strong house league program we will have a difficult time building our rep program up to where everyone wants it. The position is ideal for someone with strong planning and organizational skills. Lacrosse experience is not required. Questions can be directed to: email@example.com

Board of Directors
The Barrie Minor Lacrosse Association is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the fourth annual “Anthony Acchione Memorial Classic” tournament, May 31st-June 2nd 2019. This tournament will be open to teams from Tyke to Midget and has been classified as a C/D ranked event.
Anthony was one of the driving forces behind the creation of the new Barrie Bombers association in 2013 and his reputation in the lacrosse community added instant credibility to the Bombers organization. Anthony's leadership and hard work were the essential ingredients in the success that Barrie Minor Lacrosse has experienced over the past few years. His courage and determination in the face of illness were an absolute inspiration to all of us who had the pleasure to work with him and to the players he mentored.
